As spring blooms in Tasmania, we're excited to offer two wonderful mosaic workshops this November at WinterCreek Mosaics. Whether you're looking to create stunning garden art or take your first steps into the world of mosaics, we have the perfect workshop for you!

Garden Globe Mosaic Workshop - Saturday, November 15, 2025

Time: 10:00 AM - 3:00 PM AEDT

Create a beautiful marble and glass mosaic globe perfect for your garden or indoor decor! This workshop is ideal for both beginners and ongoing students who want to explore 3D mosaic skills and learn how to plan sculptural pieces.

What you'll learn:

• Cutting techniques for marble and glass
• Design considerations for garden globes
• 3D mosaic skills for sculptural work
• Working on two globe projects

What's included: All materials are provided, but feel free to bring special items like sea-glass, shells, beads, or china pieces to personalize your creation. Morning tea and tea/coffee are available - just bring your own lunch and a mask for mixing adhesive.

Beginner Mosaic Workshop - Saturday, November 29, 2025

Time: 10:30 AM - 3:00 PM AEDT

New to mosaics? This is the perfect place to start! Join us for a hands-on introduction to mosaic-making using the Direct Method. Yes, you are creative, and this workshop will prove it!

What you'll learn:

• Various mosaic techniques and cutting materials like glass
• Designing patterns and working with different textures
• Creating your own unique mosaic on a 20x20cm base

What's included: All necessary materials are provided - you just need to bring your enthusiasm and eagerness to learn! Feel free to bring along that special bead, shell, or piece of china to incorporate into your work. Morning tea is provided - please bring your lunch, an apron to protect your clothes, and wear closed-in shoes. Masks are needed for mixing glue.
