Discover mosaics this December: beginner workshop and a special student offer
Make time for a little creativity this December! Join Sue at WinterCreek Mosaics on Saturday 5 December 2026 at 10:30 am for a hands-on Beginner Mosaic Workshop. Whether you have never tried mosaics or have begun experimenting, this is a welcoming opportunity to learn, explore and create something of your own.
A creative day, with guidance every step of the way
You will explore mosaic-making using the Direct Method, with Sue guiding you through selecting materials, designing your piece and cutting materials such as glass. Experiment with colours and textures as you create your own mosaic on a supplied 20 × 20 cm base.
No previous experience is needed. Bring your enthusiasm, and if you like, a special bead, shell or piece of china to incorporate into your work.
What is included?
The workshop is $175 AUD per person, including the materials, your mosaic base and morning tea. Please bring your lunch and an apron, and wear closed-in shoes. A mask is needed when mixing glue.
