Two Beginner Mosaic Workshops Coming Up – Book Your Spot!

Have you been thinking about trying mosaic art? Now's the perfect time to give it a go! WinterCreek Mosaics has two Beginner Mosaic Workshops coming up this August and September — both designed for people who are brand new to the craft (or have just dabbled a little).

What to expect

In this hands-on, in-person workshop, Sue will guide you through the Direct Method of mosaic-making from start to finish. You'll learn how to cut materials like glass, design patterns, and create your very own mosaic on a supplied 20×20cm base. All materials are provided — just bring your enthusiasm, an apron, and closed-in shoes. Morning tea is included; bring your own lunch. Oh, and if you have a special bead, shell, or piece of china you'd love to incorporate, bring it along!

Your workshop host

Sue is an experienced mosaic artist and a visual artist studying Fine Arts at the University of Tasmania. She brings both technical skill and a genuine love of the craft to every workshop.
