This collection features a collaboration between Sue Leitch and Noula Diamantopoulos.
The works are encaustic mosaics where two techniques are combined to create unique art works. Our first series were The Angels. Sue has created mosaics in response to Noula's encaustic paintings. Likewise Noula has created encaustic paintings in response to Sue's mosaic. So they cross back and forth, responding to each other's additions, to come up with our final angels. Some of this work is done remotely between Rozelle, Sydney NSW where Noula is based and some is done in Tasmania at Sue's Coal Valley studio.
